Typical Water Treatment System
#1 BB SEDIMENT FILTER CARTRIDGE
For removal of sediment larger than 5 microns. Filter should be changed at 3-6 month intervals as needed.
#2 WATER SOFTENER
For removal of excessive minerals and Iron (Fe) slat level should be above water line when observed (2-3 months)
#2A BRINE TANK
For solutions to regenerate softener, keep salt above water level (2-3 months) and hydro-matic conditioner every 6 months as needed.
#3 SOLUTIONS TANK AND PUMP
For injecting chlorine for organic oxidation (odors) (keep at last 1/3 solution in tank, fresh chlorine every 3-4 weeks
#4 MIXING CHAMBER (ACCELERATOR)
To combine chlorine with h2o for thorough oxidation and mixing. No maintenance of this device should be needed.
#5 METER
For accurate dosing and exact ration adjustments based on flow rate requirements. Expect years of service without any maintenance.
#6 CARBON/KDF MEDIA FILTRATION
For removal of chlorine and chlorine byproducts (oxidized organics) color and odor polishing. This Carbon will need to be changed, however we expect several years of service between change-outs.
#7 FILLING STATIONS WITH TREATMENT WATER
For refilling solution tank (should add ½-1 gallon of Clorox or equivalent monthly and fill with this hose to 30 gallon mark (regardless of level). This tank should NEVER be allowed to run out of solution or re-priming will become necessary.
#8 FINAL BARRIER REVERSE OSMOSIS DRINKING WATER SYSTEM
For high purity drinking and cooking water. Filters should be changed annually.
Acid Neutralizer
PURPOSE: Prevents corrosive damage to metal pipes, faucets, water heaters and appliances.
RESULT: The ultimate cure for low pH water.

Big Blue Sediment Filter
PURPOSE: Removal of silt, sand or other sediment larger than 5 microns.
RESULT: Less sediment particles improving the flow and appearance of your water. Protects your investment in water treatments, greatly reducing wear on controls and lowers operation costs.
Big Blue® filter housings offer the versatility to meet all of your large capacity filtration needs, including highflow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra-large housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. Sumps are constructed of durable reinforced polypropylene and are available in both 10″ and 20″ lengths. The high-flow polypropylene (HFPP) cap is available with 3/4″, 1″ or 1-1/2″ NPT inlet and outlet ports. The 1-1/4″ internal port allows a greater volume of liquid to pass through the HFPP cap more rapidly. Big Blue® housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals and are available with or without an optional pressure relief button. They accept a wide variety of 4-1/2″ diameter cartridges in either 10″ or 20.”
Liquid PH/Chlorine System
HOW IT WORKS: The amount of water being used is accurately measured by the pulse meter. A reed switch in the meter signals the chemical metering pump as every 1/10 of a gallon of water is used.
The Aqua Accelerator is a multistage mixing chamber that blends the chemical instantly with the untreated water. The chemical metering pump injects a precise amount of chemical under high pressure into the turbulent water stream created by the mixing tube.
Constant Pressure System
PURPOSE: Constant pressure of up to 100psi at 32gpm continuous flow.
RESULT: Run many appliances/showers at the same time. Be able to shower while doing laundry, flushing toilet, etc…(Note: This equipment only deals with pressure, you do need to have enough water!)
Utilizing the latest in pump and tank technology, LPSI provides the homeowner or business with a constant pressure of up to 100psi at 32gpm continuous flow from a 3-400 gallon storage tank. Never loose pressure again! We have installed homes with up to 1000 gallons of reserve water (most applications maintaining 60-70psi is recommended).
Reverse Osmosis (RO) System
PURPOSE: Remove total dissolved inorganic solids (TDS) (such as salts) from water.
RESULT: High purity drinking and cooking water. No more bottled water!
Self-contained 24-50gpd Reverse Osmoisis system, 5 micron pre filter, Extruded carbon block pre- filter, TFC membrane for rejection of dissolved solids, Nitrates, Salts etc. Post Carbon CTO block filter for taste (oxygenation) often you see the bubbles! Final prolonged contact VOC filter for extraction of MTBE, Benzene, Toluene, Atrazine, etc., Commercial/Industrial technology for the home or office!
Includes matching touch flow faucet and ice-maker connections for dispensing of your high quality drinking water.
